The Spring Rain Festival is back and Wabbits are jumping happily everywhere. Eve, Frank, Hilary and Owenstein also would like to share their best wishes with all Taboreans – You can visit them in Varanas Central Plaza (channel 1) between 08.04.2015 18:00 CEST to 15.04.2015 18:00 CEST and exchange some items for nice presents!

We've combined the Proof of Myth event with the exchange event as well, so be aware that you will need to kill bosses in Zurhidon Stronghold (normal mode) instance to obtain Black Bars which are required for the exchange! The bosses will drop these special items whilst the event lasts, so don't wait and take part in the event now!!

Runes of Magic temporarly not available

Dear RoM players,

as you probably already noticed, login to the game is not possible. That is because we had to shut down the game servers for security reasons.

What has happened exactly? We found out that somebody used a weakness in the game client, to perform changes on the database. Together with the development studio Runewaker we are currently working hard to find a solution so the servers can be made available again. We have to ask you for some patience now...

As surely the question will arise: Your passwords are stored encrypted. We have no evidence that they could have been leaked.

We will keep you informed here and in the boards on our further steps. As soon as we can tell you more, we will do that.

Login Issues

We are currently experiencing some technical issues and it is possible that you can not connect to the game. Our system administrators are already working on it.

[Events] Easter in Taborea

Spring Rain Festival, Wabbits and warm weather - what else would Taboreans need to celebrate the new season of the year? Of course with events! During the following festive days don't miss the opportunity to participate in planned attractions - there will be events, competitions and great prizes for you to look forward to!

But what if relaxing during warm weather with cute Wabbits is not your idea for celebrating the change of the season, and you are thirsty for bloodshed? Don't worry! Between 03.04.2015 at 18:00 CEST and 12.04.2015 at 23:59, there will be a +200% boost in drop rate! Don't wait and go kill some monsters and ensure the calm Easter for all residents of Taborea!

Re: Merge FAQ

Dear Community,
As the process for the server merge kept on being worked on, some changes and additions need to be made in the FAQ above.
Some points have changed, some based on your feedback, others were still not answered and some plans were modified as the merge gets closer to do this as smooth as possible.

Regarding the characters and guilds:
We've seen your concern about losing your nick to alts or to newly created chars/guilds, so we have modified the rules of renaming them.
For characters, we will consider the level as the first check, the character with the highest level (in any of the classes) will get to keep the name. In case both have the same level, then the play time will decide it, the character which has been played the most will keep it.
For guilds, a similar rule applies. The guild with the highest will keep the name, and when the level is the same then the one in the target server will keep it.

Regarding the questions about the magic wardrobe:
The Magic Wardrobe itself won't be merged. Instead, the items you have in the original server will be mailed to you in packages along with the items used to put them in there in the first place, and any additional diamonds you had spent to unlock new pages will also be reimbursed.

Now, about the plans. We will split the US/AU merge in two, since this will be two different processes. First, we will go ahead with the region merge between AU and US and merge Thalia (AU) into Artemis (US). After this, the rest of the merges within US will take place. And later on, we will continue with the plans for EU

About the date, as you know we didn't make it within Q1, but the first merge is close!
On April 14th, Thalia will be merged into Artemis.
We don't have an estimated date for the rest of the US merge though.

Server Maintenance - April 7th

On Tuesday April 7th, we will perform our weekly server maintenance. It will start at 08:00 CEST and during this time the servers will be unavailable. Maintenance may take longer than usual.

We will inform you as soon as the maintenance is over and you can go back to your adventures under the wonderful sky of Taborea.

[Additional Information]

-We will implement the patch 6.2.2.2736 (aprox. 382MB). The patch contains some bug-fixes and festival.
-"Anniversary Festival" will be deactivated, and we will activate the "Spring Rain Festival".
